Within the beautiful surroundings of the Bavarian Forest you will discover interesting, entertaining and exciting facts about glass and glass production. See how glassblowers, glass painters and engravers work and have a try yourself.

Passau, a German city on the Austrian border, lies at the confluence of the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers. Known as the Three Rivers City, it's overlooked by the Veste Oberhaus, a 13th-century hilltop fortress housing a city museum and observation tower. The old town below is known for its baroque architecture, including St. Stephen's Cathedral, featuring distinctive onion-domed towers and an organ with 17,974 pipes, pretty pastel coloured buildings and cobbled streets.

Treetop Trail - Neuschonau

Enjoy impressive views over the trees on one of the longest treetop trails in the world found in the National Park Centre of Neuschönau in the Bavarian Forest.

Over a barrier-free total length of 1,300 m visitors find numerous information stations, special highlights and oases of calm before finally being rewarded by the 44-m-high “Baumei” (literally “tree egg”), with wonderful views over the trees to the Alps beyond.
